Year based training plans
The basis of our plan is on the fundamental principles of periodization and progressive training loads.
It is well known that the primary goal as a coach is the performance of your team to be maintained at a high level without great ups and downs during the official soccer season. The challenge is the improvement of physical and soccer performance of the team and on an individual basis, although yearly improvement is usually challenging. Ergoscan’s professional area is to support the coach’s fitness job.
Our pursuit is the cooperation with the fitness coach for the design and development of a year based tailor-made plan with specific goals, training loads and future perspectives. Our intention is the implementation of the latest scientific know-how concerning the design and development of high-tech training methods and techniques.
The periodization is based on the team’s timetable with peaks before the most critical games always in conjunction with the results of the fitness assessment.
Our aims are:
- The accomplishment of training goals and team’s primary goal.
- To avoid muscle and overload injuries.
- High physical performance during specific periods or before crucial games.
ERGOSCAN prepares a clear yearly plan, designed on specific guidelines. These guidelines are: macrocycles – mesocycles – microcycles and training workouts.
Macrocycle usually refers to a minimum of a year plan project to a maximum of 4 years perspectives and inspirations for the club.
Mesocycle usually refers to a planned project of minimum a month’s time to a maximum of 4 months period.
Microcycle: usually refers to a weekly timetable with maximum ten days schedule.
Training unit: Refers to the structure of the day training plan.
Our long term experience in competitive sports along with the requirements at this level, give us the capability to combine the results of the fitness assessment with our expertise (know-how) and the team’s timetable.
